Diplomat, author and traveller
Dato’ Dr Ilango Karuppannan spent 33 years in the Malaysian diplomatic service, serving as High Commissioner to Singapore and Ambassador to Lebanon and Cyprus.
After decades representing Malaysia abroad, he began travelling its old roads and writing about overlooked places, people and histories. He also shares insights on diplomacy, foreign policy and Southeast Asia through Diplomatify.
